I am co-owner of Velarde Salon & Spa with Melissa. Together we strive to create a family-oriented environment. Although I do not work in the salon physically, you can always find me around with a tool in my hand fixing something! I am proud of the team we have created here at Velarde, and together we work to make your visit here exceptional! Here at the salon, we are a family, and we make it our priority to have you leaving here feeling the same way and eager to come back.

I have been in business with Fidel since 2000. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner or team of girls that I have acquired over the years, not to mention all the fabulous people/clients I’ve met along the way. I am a true nail artist at heart, but I adore everything fashion and beauty! I love keeping our salon updated with the newest and latest styles and trends! One of my quotes that I live by is “Enter as a stranger leaves as a friend.” Here at Velarde, we hope that as a client, you will do just that!

I’ve been around the industry literally since I was born. My family opened Velarde Salon when I was 11, and I’ve been working here ever since. I pursued my cosmetology career right out of high school. I strive every day to be the best hairstylist/nail tech I can be. Even though I can sometimes have my hair a little crazy, I can still achieve a conservative color and cut for you. I also enjoy creating a unique look using crazy creative colors. I specialize in hot and cold fusion extensions to add length or add a pop of color to your hair. I can’t wait to meet you and together create your perfect look.
